We are offering an 13-week program for both hitting and pitching that will include 2 1-hour sessions per week. These programs will start on the first week of November and carry on until the end of January.
Catching clinics will run once/week for 13 weeks, to be held on the same night as one pitching session.
Hitting sessions will be held at ISDP in Gatineau Monday and Wednesday with time slots between 8:00-11:00 pm.
Pitching sessions will be held at the Carleton Fieldhouse, one session per weeknight and one per weekend morning. Times/dates are still TBD with the university as they re-open their facility
Pitching – Nathan Van PuttenNate is one of the special pitching instructors for the Knights throughout the season. He is currently a pitcher for the Carleton Ravens and was an OUA all-star in the 2019 season.
Hitting – Steve RenaudSteve is the Knights organizational hitting coach who, after his time at Junior College, also played for the Carleton Ravens and was named #1 on their Top-10 All-Decade team this year.
Catching – Justin ChartrandJustin is a the Knights organizational catching coach and has spearheaded our catching clinics for the past 2 years which has graduated several players into the Knights organization.
Driveline is more than just “a weighted ball program”. Each session comprises warm-ups, specific drills, then training/practice, followed by recovery exercises.
– Is my son too young for a program like this? A: Driveline asserts that their programs can be done by players ages 8 years and up.
– Can we combine these sessions with other training? A: We recommend that if players are to do additional training in tandem with these programs that they ensure with their other trainers that they get the necessary rest and recovery so that they are able to stay healthy through these programs.
Because of this, our Pitching program cannot be combined with either the Hitting or Catching program as we want to ensure we’re doing our part to provide players rest for their arms. Hitting and Catching sessions can be combined.
– What is your refund policy should training be halted due to COVID? If we are forced to stop our training sessions, all participants will be refunded on a prorated basis, calculated by the number of sessions already attended.
Cost for each program
Catching – $500.00
Pitching – $1,000.00
Hitting – $1,000.00
